SECRET SACRED SEVEN - An introductory day course into sacred geometry and the mystery of seven-fold form

This one day workshop will be led by Daniel Docherty

10th April 2023 Easter Monday

10am - 5pm

Why is it that we rarely, if ever, see seven in the world around us?

It is the most elusive and mysterious of forms.

In numerous mythological traditions and sacred texts seven is aligned with wisdom and the journey of the soul. It is the number governing the philosophy and practice of Labyrinths and is generally perceived as the governing number of the ever-changing lunar cycles.

During this one-day workshop we will explore the elusive mystery of seven through the drawing of several beautiful patterns including the Kairos Flower, Labyrinths and a twenty-eight petalled Lunar Mandala.

Places are limited, the cost is £70 which includes refreshments and all materials.

Daniel Docherty is Programme Director and Senior Tutor at Sacred Art of Geometry Studios (SAOG Studios), UK. He has been actively engaged in the practice and philosophy of sacred geometry and the arts/sciences of the Quadrivium for the past 20 + years (ever since his first meeting with Keith Critchlow in the early 2000s).

He balances his arts practice with regular teaching and lecturing throughout the UK and abroad.

Daniel currently lives with his wife and three children in the heart of the Ashdown Forest in East Sussex. (www.sacredartofgeometry.com)
